Charcoal foam is ideal for various applications. Because it is a lightweight foam at a density of 1.8 lbs, it is widely used for packing and shipping items. In a firmness of Extra Firm, it will absorb impact produced during transportation, making it ideal for fragile items such as glassware. Charcoal foam in a firmness of Extra Firm is also used for sound dampening and soundproofing, such as in music or hotel rooms. The dark color of this foam type will also prevent and mask unsightly stains.
Although it is considered lightweight, the 1.8 lb density of our Charcoal foam is higher when compared to other vendors, which means it is of a higher quality, more resistant to damage, more durable, and longer lasting.
Maximum dimensions: 96″ x 82″. Adhesion may occur based on available stock.
