Frequently Asked Questions
What are the uses of an elongated wedge?
The elongated wedge foam, also known as a bolster, is used primarily for back cushions on day beds and bay windows, including breakfast nooks. Because the construction tends to be at a 90-degree angle, the bolster has a 90-degree angle on the backside and is slanted on the front side. The bolster provides the correct angle and comfort when leaning back. The elongated wedge is also used for leg support. Having a flat top surface allows the lower leg to lay flat at an elevated height.
