Description:
Our Charcoal Acoustic Egg Crate Foam is a great sound-proofing solution at a budget-conscious price. Foam is considered by many the best solution in value for sound-proofing. The raised cone surface of the foam provides quick and clean sound absorption that you can count on when needed.
We offer Acoustic Egg Crate foam in a thickness of 2-inch (1″ Cone 1″ Base) and 4-inch (2″ Cone 2″ Base). 2-inch thick Charcoal foam will provide a good soundproofing solution on a budget. 4-inch thick Charcoal foam will provide superior soundproofing qualities than the 2-inch thick foam. Both options work exceptionally well when covered with an acoustical cloth for an added buffer. Length and Width can be customized to your specific needs. However, please note that the maximum size of this foam is 96-inches. As such, anything over this 96-inch dimension will be cut in increments. Additionally, Egg Crate foam is produced in pairs. To order, you will need to input a quantity of 2 when adding your product to the cart.
As the name suggests, Charcoal Acoustic Egg Crate foam is available in the color charcoal. This is an appealing color that will hide dirt and stains. This way it will maintain its pleasing appearance over the years of its use.
Our Acoustic Egg Crate Foam is designed to be a long-lasting solution due to its durable construction and manufacturing process. This foam meets flammability regulations CA TB 117-2013, FMVSS 302, and NFPA 260 to ensure a safe environment for your home or business.

How To Install Acoustic Foam
The simplest method to install acoustic foam to the mounting surface is with spray adhesive. When applying the spray adhesive, you can either apply for a temporary hold or a permanent hold.
Temporary Hold: Lightly apply the spray adhesive to your foam and apply it to the mounting surface.
Permanent Hold: Heavily apply the spray adhesive to your foam without saturating it. Apply spray adhesive to the mounting surface as well. Before applying the foam to the mounting surface, wait for the spray adhesive to become tacky, and then apply. Hold the foam in place for two minutes.
Alternatively, a heavy staple gun can be used to apply the acoustic foam to your mounting surface.
